On average, you will need 1 diaper cover for every 4-6 diapers.
The covers will not tend to get soiled with each diaper change.
Thus, you should be able to re-use the covers multiple times before requiring to wash them.
Diaper covers should be used with fitted, flat & pre-fold diapers. Diaper covers are NOT needed for All-In-One or Pocket Diapers.
It varies on the absorbency of the type of insert
that you are using. On average you will need 1 insert
per diaper during the day. At night, you may want to
consider using 2-3 inserts per diaper.
